Philippine Economic Society (PES)
Thirteen high school teachers of economics took their oath as members of the Philippine Economic Society (PES) on 23 June 2018 at Faber Hall, Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City.
The induction of new members was part of the program of the Economic and Financial Literacy Seminar-Workshop for Basic Education Teachers co-organized by PES, the Ateneo Department of Economics, and the National Economic and Development Authority. The oath-taking was led by PES President Majah-Leah Ravago.
Induction of new members will also be held in upcoming PES events, such as the Symposium on the Economics of Biotech Crops on 17 July at the SEARCA Auditorium, Los Baños, Laguna and the 56th Annual Meeting and Conference on 08 November 2018 at the Novotel Manila, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City.
