PES spearheads trainings on forecasting, data analysis

More than 40 trainees coming from the academe, the government, and the private sector participated in two pre-conference training workshops organized by the Philippine Economic Society (PES) on 7 November 2018 at the Novotel Manila, Quezon City.

Participants came not only from Metro Manila but also from as far as the Ilocos Region, CALABARZON, Eastern Visayas, and Northern Mindanao.

The training on Basic Forecasting was facilitated by PES Vice President, Dr. Lawrence Dacuycuy of the School of Economics of De La Salle University, while the training on R and Data Analysis was facilitated by Ms. Miann Banaag, Mr. Jerome Patrick Cruz, and Mr. Jayvy Gamboa of the Ateneo Policy Center.
